Week Of 1/19/2018 Fishing Report Fishing has been a little difficult  but if you know where to go it will make all the difference, Because of the water temperature being in the low 50’s that is your first problem the 2 nd problem is no water in some places. Negative tides because of the winds and moon phase makes it difficult to get to the correct locations for Red fish and Snook even for Seatrout. My advice is watch the tides and wind and plan your day correctly you will need to go near warmer water like springs, powerplant outflows, deeper pockets in the backwaters etc. The good news is warmer weather is on it’s way so even with the water temperature going up 3 to 5 degrees should put them in a feeding mood. When it comes to Snook you will see lots of them in the correct locations but sometimes they don’t care what you put in front of them, but we have been having good luck on artificial bait drifting it slowly past them.
